Use the table shown below, to help determine the cause of the problem symptom. The potential causes of the symptoms are listed in order of probability in the "Suspected Area" column of the table. Check each symptom by checking the suspected areas in the order they are listed. Replace parts as necessary.

PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE - POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

All doors cannot be locked/unlocked simultaneously

Key lock-in prevention function does not work properly (manual operation and key-linked lock are active)
  1. Front door courtesy lamp switch assy
  2. Unlock warning switch assy
  3. Wire harness
  4. Instrument panel J/B assy (integration relay)
Only back door cannot be opened (unlocked)
  1. Back door lock assy
  2. Back door opener switch assy
  3. Wire harness
  4. Instrument panel J/B assy (integration relay)

HINT:

After inspecting the power window regulator master switch, reset the power window motor (See INITIALIZATION ).
