How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the combination meter.
• The hand-held tester should be used in step  5.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
   1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
2. See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK  
   1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard: 11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge the battery before proceeding.

   1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
4. See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
