Electronic Controlled Automatic Transaxle (ECT): Initialization

  1. RESET MEMORY 
    CAUTION: Perform the RESET MEMORY (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transaxle assy, engine assy or ECM.
    NOTE: Hand-held tester only
    1. Turn the ignition switch off.
    2. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    4. Perform the reset memory procedure from the ENGINE menu.
    CAUTION: After performing the RESET MEMORY, be sure to perform the ROAD TEST described earlier.
