DATA LIST

HINT:

According to the DATA LIST displayed on the hand-held tester, you can read the value and state of the switch, the sensor, the actuator and so on without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST as the first step of troubleshooting is one of the methods to shorten labor time.

Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
According to the display on the tester, read the "DATA LIST".

Coolant temperature/ Min.: -40 °C, Max.: 140 °C

After warming up: 80 to 95°C (176 to 203°F)

If the value is "-40 °C" or "140 °C", sensor circuit is open or short.
