Cigarette Lighter Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Align the socket with the notch on the cigarette lighter bezel stay and push the cigarette lighter in as hard as possible.
    2. Install the cigarette lighter knob and element.
  2. INSTALL CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER 
    1. Install the cigarette lighter cover.
  3. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL UPPER 
  4. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
