Floor Shift Assembly: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER FRONT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the knob.

  6. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the floor shift.

  7. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the shift lock control ECU connector.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and floor shift assembly.
