Park / Neutral Position Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 -2 Shift position R Below 1 Ω
      1 -2 Any shift position except R 10 kΩ or higher
