On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK COVER 
  2. REMOVE INTEGRATION RELAY  (See REMOVAL )
  3. INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY 
    1. Check the resistance.
      1. Remove the horn relay.
      2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals

        Standard resistance 

        TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A8 - T6 When battery voltage absent 10 kΩ or higher
        When battery voltage applied to terminals A7 and T6 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration relay.

  4. INSTALL INTEGRATION RELAY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK COVER
