Throttle Body: Inspection: Inspection

  1. INSPECT THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY

    1. Check that the throttle valve opens and closes smoothly.
    2. Check that the there is no sludge accumulating around the throttle body.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (M-) - 2 (M+) 20°C (68°F) 0.3 to 100 Ω
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Throttle Body)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the throttle with motor body assembly.
