  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 
    1. Refer to the Customer Problem Analysis. Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION .

      NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

    Standard voltage

    11 to 14 V

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  4. CONNECT THE TECHSTREAM TO DLC3* 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  5. CHECK AND CLEAR DTCS AND FREEZE FRAME DATA* 
    1. Refer to the DTC Check/Clear. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

      NEXT: Go to next step 

  6. VISUAL INSPECTION 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  7. SETTING CHECK MODE DIAGNOSIS* 
    1. Refer to the Check Mode Procedure. Refer to CHECK MODE PROCEDURE .

      NEXT: Go to next step 

  8. PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION 
    1. Refer to the Road Test. Refer to ROAD TEST .

  9. SYMPTOM SIMULATION
