WASTEGATE Duty Solenoid Testing

Disconnect wastegate duty solenoid connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure solenoid resistance. If resistance is not 17-21 ohms, replace solenoid. Check solenoid terminals for a short to ground. Also see TESTS W/CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
