Component Testing: Relays
Remove relay in question. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 1 . See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Continuity should exist. Check continuity between terminals No. 2 and 4. Continuity should not exist. Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 1, and ground terminal No. 3. Continuity should now exist between terminals No. 2 and 4. Replace relay if continuity is not as specified.
