Diode Assembly
- To check diode assembly, remove it from rear cover. Using ohmmeter, check each diode for continuity in one direction only.
- If resistance or continuity is shown in both directions, diode is bad. If any diodes are defective, replace complete rectifier assembly.
- Diode trio is good if all tests show continuity exists in one direction only. If continuity exists in both directions, replace diode trio.
