Bench Testing: Stator

Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between stator core leads. If continuity does not exist between any 2 leads, replace stator. Connect ohmmeter between stator core and each stator lead, individually. If continuity does not exist, stator is good. If continuity exists, stator is grounded and must be replaced.
