Generator & Regulator: Description

Hitachi generators are conventional rotating field, 3-phase, self-rectifying type generators. Four positive and 4 negative diodes are used to rectify current. All models are equipped with Integrated Circuit (IC) voltage regulators. When charge indicator light voltage and generator output voltage are about equal, charge indicator light goes out.
