Starter Interlock Relay

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove starter interlock relay. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 2 and 3. See Fig 1 . If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace starter interlock relay.
  2. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 4. If continuity exists, replace starter interlock relay. If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
  3. Connect battery voltage to starter interlock relay terminal No. 3 and battery ground to relay terminal No. 2. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 4. Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace starter interlock relay.
