Arming System

Remove key from ignition switch. Close all doors, trunk lid, rear gate and hood. Confirm that security indicator light comes on. After 30 seconds, security light will start flashing every 3 seconds to indicate that alarm system has been armed.

If the trunk lid, rear gate, hood or a door is not completely closed, alarm will not set and indicator light will flash rapidly. If vehicle is unlocked with key or ignition switch is turned to ACC or RUN position, alarm will not set.
