Inhibitor Switch: Installation

Connect the inhibitor switch harness connector to inhibitor switch.
Install the inhibitor switch to transmission case.

Move the range select lever to neutral position.
Place the inhibitor switch on specified position, and then tighten the bolts for inhibitor switch using ST.
1. ST 499267300 STOPPER PIN
1. Tightening torque: 3.5 N.m (0.36 kgf-m, 2.6 ft-lb)

Install the select cable to range select lever.
Install the plate assembly to transmission.
Tightening torque:
1. T: 25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.1 ft-lb)

Install the washer and snap pin to range select lever.

Install the front and center exhaust pipes.
2.5 L model
1. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Exhaust Pipe.>
3.0 L model

Lower the vehicle.
Install the inhibitor switch connector to stay.
Connect the inhibitor switch connector.

Install the air cleaner case. (2.5 L model)

Install air intake chamber. (3.0 L model)

Inspect the inhibitor switch. < Ref. to INSPECTION , Inhibitor Switch.>
