Tumble Generator Valve Assembly: Removal

  1. Release the fuel pressure. <Ref. to , RELEASING OF FUEL PRESSURE, PROCEDURE, FUEL . >
  2. Remove the collector cover.
  3. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

  4. Open the fuel filler flap lid, and remove the fuel filler cap.
  5. Remove the intake manifold. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Intake Manifold .>
  6. Disconnect the connector from the tumble generator valve assembly.

  7. Remove the fuel injector. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Fuel Injector .>
  8. Remove the tumble generator valve body from intake manifold.
