Inhibitor Switch: Installation

Connect the inhibitor switch harness connector to the inhibitor switch.
Install the inhibitor switch to the transmission case.

Move the range select lever to the neutral position.
Tighten the three inhibitor switch securing bolts using the ST.
ST 499267300 STOPPER PIN

Tightening torque:

3.4 N.m (0.35 kgf-m, 2.5 ft-lb)

Install the select cable to the range select lever.
Install the plate assembly to the transmission.
Tightening torque:

T: 25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)

Install the washer and snap pin to the range select lever.

Install the front and center exhaust pipe. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Exhaust Pipe. >
Lower the vehicle.
Install the inhibitor switch connector to the stay.
Connect the inhibitor switch connector.

Install the air intake chamber. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Intake Chamber. >
Inspect the inhibitor switch. < Ref. to INSPECTION , Inhibitor Switch. >
