Tumble Generator Valve Assembly: Removal

1. Release the fuel pressure. Refer to RELEASING OF FUEL PRESSURE , PROCEDURE, Fuel .
2. Remove the collector cover.
3. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

4. Open the fuel filler lid, and remove the fuel filler cap.
5. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to REMOVAL , Intake Manifold .
6. Disconnect the connector from the tumble generator valve assembly.

7. Remove the fuel injector. Refer to REMOVAL , Fuel Injector .
8. Remove the tumble generator valve body from intake manifold.
