Engine Cooling System: Radiator: Installation
- Install the radiator lower cushion.
- Install the radiator to vehicle.NOTE: Insert pins on the lower side of radiator into the radiator lower cushions on vehicle side.
- Hold the ambient sensor harness with clip.
- Hold the radiator and condenser with bolts.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the front bumper. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Bumper. >
- Connect the ATF radiator inlet hose and ATF radiator outlet hose.NOTE: Use a new ATF radiator inlet hose and ATF radiator outlet hose.
- Connect the radiator inlet hoses LH and RH.
- Install the reservoir tank.
- Connect the connector to radiator fan control unit.
- Install the radiator stay.
- Tighten the bolts on the right side of the radiator stay.
Tightening torque:
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
- Tighten the bolts on the left side of the radiator stay.
Tightening torque:
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
- Install the front hood cable fixing clip to the radiator stay.
- Install the radiator inlet hose LH to the clip.
- Install the latch.
Tightening torque:
33 N.m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.3 ft-lb)
- Tighten the bolts on the right side of the radiator stay.
- Install the radiator upper brackets.
Tightening torque:
12 N.m (1.2 kgf-m, 8.9 ft-lb)
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Connect the radiator outlet hose to the radiator lower.
- Tighten the bolts at the bottom of the radiator stay.
Tightening torque:
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
- Install the under cover. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Under Cover. >
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the battery ground terminal.
- Fill engine coolant. < Ref. to FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant. >
- Check the ATF level and replenish it if necessary. < Ref. to INSPECTION , Automatic Transmission Fluid. >
- Install the front upper cover.
- Install the air intake duct. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Intake Duct. >
- Install the collector cover.
