Installation of input shaft bearing FR

Use the SST to install the input shaft bearing FR to the input shaft.
SST 499277000, 398477703

CAUTION: Press-fit by holding the inner race of the input shaft bearing FR.

Select a shaft snap ring so that the thrust clearance between the input shaft bearing FR and the shaft snap ring is within the standard value.

Standard value: 0 mm {0 in}

Limit: 0.1 mm {0.00394 in}

Install a new shaft snap ring to the input shaft.

Installation of synchronizer ring No. 2
1. Apply manual transmission oil to the synchronizer ring No. 2, and install the synchronizer ring No. 2 to the input shaft.
  NOTE: Be sure to use the recommended product or the substitute product for manual transmission oil. (Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL )

Installation of needle roller bearing
1. Apply manual transmission oil to the needle roller bearing and install the needle roller bearing to the input shaft.
  NOTE: Be sure to use the recommended product or the substitute product for manual transmission oil. (Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL )
