CAUTION:
- Use 0W-20 (synthetic oil).
- It is acceptable to fill with an engine oil of another brand, but make sure to use the following engine oil specified by Subaru.
NOTE:
Engine oil with proper viscosity helps the engine maintain its ideal temperature, and the cranking speed is increased when the oil is heated due to a reduction of viscosity friction.
