Oil Level Switch: Installation
- Install the oil level switch, and install the clip.
Tightening torque:
6.4N.m (0.7kgf-m, 4.7ft-lb)
- Connect the connector and install the clip.
- Install the engine mounting LH.
Tightening torque:
35 N.m (3.6kgf-m, 25.8ft-lb)
- Lower the engine and remove the lifting device and wire ropes.
- Remove the ST.
- Install the nuts which hold the engine mounting to the crossmember. (CVT model)CAUTION: Use new nuts.NOTE: Make sure that locators (a) of the engine mounting are securely inserted.
Tightening torque:
90 N.m (9.2kgf-m, 66.4ft-lb)
- Install the nuts which hold the engine mounting to the crossmember. (MT model)CAUTION: Use new nuts.
Tightening torque:
90 N.m (9.2kgf-m, 66.4ft-lb)
- Install the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO)>Front Exhaust Pipe>INSTALLATION .
- Install the transmission harness in original position. (CVT model)
Tightening torque:
7 N.m (0.7kgf-m, 5.2ft-lb)
- Install the TCM. (CVT model) Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>Transmission Control Module (TCM)>INSTALLATION .
- Install the pitching stopper. (MT model)
6MT model:
Ref. to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT)>Transmission Mounting System>REMOVAL>PITCHING STOPPER .
- Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>Air Intake Boot>INSTALLATION .
- Install the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>Air Intake Duct>INSTALLATION .
- Install the V-belt cover.
Tightening torque:
7 N.m (0.7kgf-m, 5.2ft-lb)
- Fill engine oil. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DO)>Engine Oil>REPLACEMENT .
- Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Set the front hood to the normal position. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>FRONT HOOD STAY .
- Install the striker - front hood. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>Front Hood>ASSEMBLY .
