Auto Vehicle Hold Switch: Inspection
- Measure the resistance between connector terminals.
Preparation tool:
Circuit tester
- Measure the resistance between auto vehicle hold switch terminals.
TERMINAL NO. INSPECTION CONDITIONS STANDARD 1 - 4 Switch OFF 1 MΩ or more Switch ON Less than 1 Ω - Apply battery voltage between the connector terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.
TERMINAL NO. INSPECTION CONDITIONS SPECIFICATION 2 (+) - 3 (-) Apply Battery Voltage. Light ON
- Measure the resistance between auto vehicle hold switch terminals.
- Replace the auto vehicle hold switch if the inspection result is not within the standard value.
