Knock Sensor: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  2. Remove the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (STI)>Intercooler>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the intake manifold. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (STI)>Intake Manifold>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the secondary air combination valve RH. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (STI)>Secondary Air Combination Valve>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the knock sensor from cylinder block.
