X MODE Switch: Removal
CAUTION:
Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION

- Disconnect the ground cable from battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE:
- Shift the select lever into "N" before disconnecting the battery ground terminal.
- On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the battery ground cable.
- Remove the switch panel front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>REMOVAL .
- Remove the X mode switch.
