Transmission Harness: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission body. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the air breather hose. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>AIR BREATHER HOSE>REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the ground terminal (electric oil pump side), and then disconnect the connector from the electric oil pump, turbine speed sensor, primary speed sensor, secondary speed sensor and secondary pressure sensor.

  4. Disconnect the connector from inhibitor switch.

  5. Disconnect the ground terminal (valve cover side).

  6. Disconnect the transmission harness from the control valve body. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>CONTROL VALVE BODY>REMOVAL .
  7. Remove all clips and remove the transmission harness.
