Rain Sensor: Inspection

  1. When removing or replacing the sensor assembly rain, perform the initial setting.
    1. Turn the lighting switch and wiper switch to OFF.
    2. Using Subaru Select Monitor, from the select function screen of [Integ. Unit Mode], select [Data monitor] and check that [Rain drop Detection Sensor Setting] shows "Yes".
    3. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, from the work support screen of [Automatic Light and Wiper], select [Sensor initial setting] and perform it.
  2. If the system does not operate normally after the initial setting, refer to AUTOMATIC LIGHT AND WIPER (DIAGNOSTICS). Ref. to AUTOMATIC LIGHT AND WIPER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
