Multi-function Display (MFD): Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the grille ventilation assembly center. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>Air Vent Grille>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE ASSEMBLY .
  3. Remove the switch assembly hazard.

  4. Remove the grille speaker assembly CTR.

  5. Remove the grille speaker side.

    NOTE: For the grille speaker side RH, disconnect the connector.
  6. Remove the trim panel assembly A pillar. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Upper Inner Trim>REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the multi-function display.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the multi-function display or instrument panel.
    1. Remove the screws and release the clip.
    2. Pull the grille defroster front assembly toward you and disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the screws and then remove the multi-function display.
