Throttle Body: Installation

  1. Connect the preheater hose.
  2. Install the preheater hose to the intake manifold assembly.

  3. Install the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
  4. Place a new gasket and install the throttle body.

    Tightening torque: 

    8 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.9 ft-lb)

  5. Connect the connector and preheater hose.
  6. Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  8. Fill engine coolant. (Engine side) Ref. to COOLING (H4DO(HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT>ENGINE SIDE .
