Symptom Chart

Symptoms Repair order Reference
The door lock control system does not operate.  
  1. Remove and visually inspect the following fuses.
  • No. 30 (in fuse and relay box)
  • No. 14 (in main fuse box)
 If the fuse is blown out, replace the fuse with a new part.
When there is no defective with the fuse, check the power supply and ground circuit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK BODY INTEGRATED UNIT POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT .
2. Check the power supply and ground circuit for the backup unit. (Model with auto door lock) Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT OF BACKUP UNIT .
3. Check the power supply and ground circuit for body integrated unit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK BODY INTEGRATED UNIT POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT .
4. Check the door lock switch and the circuit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK DOOR LOCK SWITCH .
5. Check the door switch and the circuit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK DOOR SWITCH .
6. Check the trunk opener switch and the circuit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK TRUNK OPENER SWITCH CIRCUIT .
7. Check the rear gate opener button and the circuit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK REAR GATE OPENER BUTTON CIRCUIT .
8. Check the door lock actuator and the circuit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR AND CIRCUIT .
A specific door lock actuator does not operate. Check the door lock actuator and circuit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR AND CIRCUIT .
Although doors can be locked with central door lock switch, doors are not locked by pressing the power rear gate lock button. Check the power rear gate lock button and the circuit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>CHECK POWER REAR GATE LOCK BUTTON .
