Transmission Control Device: Installation

Using the ST, install the oil seal.
Preparation tool:

ST: INSTALLER (18657AA010)

Install the spacer (A) to the manual plate (B).
CAUTION: Always use a new spacer.
Insert the manual valve lever shaft (C) and install the manual plate (B).
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the oil seal.

NOTE: Apply ATF to the oil seal lips.

Install the manual valve lever shaft to the transmission case.
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the oil seal.

NOTE: Apply ATF to the oil seal lips.
Install a new spring pin.

Crimp the spacer.
NOTE: Align the dent of the manual valve lever shaft with the spacer hole.

Install the parking pawl. Ref. to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION>PARKING PAWL>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Fill ATF. Ref. to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID>INSPECTION>FILL ATF .
