Fuel Filler Pipe: Installation
NOTE:
For the installation procedure of fuel filler lid, refer to "Fuel Lid". Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>FUEL LID>INSTALLATION
.
- Install the fuel filler pipe.
- Open the fuel filler lid.
- Insert the fuel filler pipe into the ring clip from inside of the rear fender.
- Install the nut securing the fuel filler pipe.
Tightening torque :
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the bolt securing the fuel filler pipe.
Tightening torque :
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the drain tube to clip (D).
- Connect the fuel filler hose (A). Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>FUEL FILLER HOSE CONNECTION>FILLER PIPE SIDE .
- Connect the drain tube (B). Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE F) .
- Connect the circulate tube (C). Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE D) .
- Install the mud guard rear RH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>MUD GUARD>INSTALLATION .
- Install the rear sub frame assembly. Ref. to REAR SUSPENSION>SUB FRAME>INSTALLATION .
- Install the fuel filler pipe protector.NOTE: Install the fuel filler pipe protector so that its cutout portion (a) is at the position indicated in the figure.
- Install the fuel filler cap.
- Close the fuel lid.
- Inspect the wheel alignment and adjust if necessary.
Inspection :
Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>WHEEL ALIGNMENT>INSPECTION .
Adjustment :
- Perform VDC sensor midpoint setting mode. Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>VDC CONTROL MODULE AND HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (VDCCM & H/U)>ADJUSTMENT>VDC SENSOR MIDPOINT SETTING MODE .
- Perform the END STOP learning. Ref. to POWER STEERING (DIAGNOSTICS)>INSPECTION MODE>PROCEDURE>INSPECTION MODE B .
- Using Subaru Select Monitor, perform [Clear Active Lane Keep System Learning Value] in the [Work Support] of [EyeSight]. (Models with EyeSight) Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION .
