Fuel Filler Pipe: Installation

NOTE: For the installation procedure of fuel filler lid, refer to "Fuel Lid". Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>FUEL LID>INSTALLATION .

Install the fuel filler pipe.

Install the nut securing the fuel filler pipe.

Tightening torque :

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Install the bolt securing the fuel filler pipe.
Tightening torque :

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Install the drain tube to clip (D).
Connect the fuel filler hose (A). Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>FUEL FILLER HOSE CONNECTION>FILLER PIPE SIDE .
Connect the drain tube (B). Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE F) .

Install the mud guard rear RH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>MUD GUARD>INSTALLATION .
Install the rear sub frame assembly. Ref. to REAR SUSPENSION>SUB FRAME>INSTALLATION .
Install the fuel filler pipe protector.
NOTE: Install the fuel filler pipe protector so that its cutout portion (a) is at the position indicated in the figure.

Install the fuel filler cap.
Close the fuel lid.
Inspect the wheel alignment and adjust if necessary.
Inspection :

Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>WHEEL ALIGNMENT>INSPECTION .

Adjustment :

Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>WHEEL ALIGNMENT>ADJUSTMENT .
Perform VDC sensor midpoint setting mode. Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>VDC CONTROL MODULE AND HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (VDCCM & H/U)>ADJUSTMENT>VDC SENSOR MIDPOINT SETTING MODE .
Perform the END STOP learning. Ref. to POWER STEERING (DIAGNOSTICS)>INSPECTION MODE>PROCEDURE>INSPECTION MODE B .
Using Subaru Select Monitor, perform [Clear Active Lane Keep System Learning Value] in the [Work Support] of [EyeSight]. (Models with EyeSight) Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION .
