Brake Fluid Warning Indicator: Notes
- When engine is stopped and ignition on, warning light comes on regardless of brake fluid position and parking brake operation. This is because contact points within the alternator voltage regulator are closed so that White/Red lead wire is grounded.
- After engine is started (alternator charging), release parking brake. If light goes off, brake fluid level is adequate.
