Fuel Gauge: Notes

Disconnect Yellow/Red wire connector at fuel tank sending unit. Connect a 12-volt 3.4-watt bulb to harness side of connector, between power terminal and ground. Turn ignition on. Make sure that test bulb flashes on and off and that fuel gauge needle deflects. If gauge needle does not deflect, replace fuel gauge. SeeFigure .
