Engine Compression

  1. Check compression pressure with engine at normal operating temperature, all spark plugs removed, high tension cord from ignition coil.
  2. Disengage clutch (to lighten starting load on engine), and depress accelerator pedal to full throttle position. Crank engine at least 6 revolutions to determine engine compression.
