Samurai (Non-Turbo)

  1. Remove distributor cap and dust cover. Disconnect Red and White wires from ignition module. Connect ohmmeter, test light, and 12-volt battery to ignition module. See Fig 1.
  2. Connect ohmmeter negative lead to Red wire terminal and positive lead to White wire terminal. Test light should glow, indicating that module is okay. If not, replace ignition module.
