Starter - Direct Drive: Description
The starter is a conventional unit consisting of a starter motor assembly and separate plunger-style solenoid (Magnetic Switch). The solenoid is activated when the ignition switch is closed, causing a yoke to engage the starter pinion with the flywheel.
