Bench Testing: Rectifier
- Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between ground and "B" terminal. Connect one lead of ohmmeter to the "B" terminal and the other to ground. Swap the leads and recheck for continuity. See Fig 1.
- In one direction there should be about 10 ohms of resistance and in the other direction there should be an infinite reading, indicating no continuity. If not, replace the rectifier.
