Road Test: Notes
CAUTION:
Two persons (driver and technician) are suggested during road test. Ensure transaxle is at normal operating temperature.
Road test should be conducted to properly diagnose condition of automatic transaxle. All shifts should be smooth, responsive and with no slippage or engine runaway. Slippage or engine runaway in any gear usually indicates clutch or band problems.
