Rear Wheel Speed Sensor: Notes

  1. Turn ignition off and raise vehicle. Disconnect sensor harness connector. If using a voltmeter, measure voltage between sensor terminals while turning wheel at a rate of 2/3 to one rotation per second. Voltage should be 106mv or greater.
  2. If using an oscilloscope, connect scope leads to sensor terminals while turning wheel at a rate of 2/3 to one rotation per second. Peak voltage should be 150mv or greater and frequency should be 25-38 Hz. Replace sensor if not within specification.
