Bench Testing: Stator

  1. To test stator for an open circuit, use ohmmeter to check all leads for continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the stator. See Fig 1.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between coil leads and stator core. If there is continuity, replace stator.
