Knock Sensor Installation

  1. Installation should follow the removal procedure in the reverse order.
  2. Install the knock sensor.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the knock sensor retaining bolt to 18 ~ 20 N.m (13 ~ 15 lb-ft).

  3. Install the VIS vacuum tank.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the VIS vacuum tank retaining bolts to 7 ~ 9 N-m (62 ~ 80 lb-in).
