Preliminary Procedures  Remove the shift control lever knob. Refer to TRANSMISSION CONTROL LEVER KNOB REPLACEMENT . Remove the shift control lever boot. Refer to TRANSMISSION CONTROL BOOT REPLACEMENT .
1	Instrument Panel Lower Brace Bezel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER BRACE BEZEL REPLACEMENT .
2	Transmission Control Indicator. Tip:  Release 4 retaining tabs to remove the transmission control indicator from the instrument panel lower brace bezel
