Indicator Light Circuit

  1. Be sure battery voltage is at least 12 volts. Turn ignition switch off. Be sure engine cranks normally and that fusible link is okay. Turn ignition switch on. At room temperature, indicator light should light for approximately 2.3 seconds on Corolla models; 3.6 seconds on Camry models. If not, check 7.5 amp fuse and indicator bulb. Repair or replace as necessary.
  2. If fuse and bulb are okay, check for battery voltage at terminal 3 of pre-heating timer connector (on wiring harness side). If voltage is not present, repair wiring. If present, replace pre-heating timer.
