Fuel Injection System - Diesel: Description

The injection system used in the Toyota Camry Turbo Diesel and Corolla FWD Diesel includes a fuel injection pump, injection nozzles, fuel filter, fuel lines and glow plug system. The fuel filter includes an integral priming pump, fuel heater and a water/sediment level warning switch.

The glow plug system has a preheating timer (on right kick panel on Corolla; under center glove compartment on Camry). System also features 2 glow plug relays (located on right fender apron), a current sensor, speed sensor, glow indicator light, resistor and water temperature sensor.
