Recalling Trouble Codes: Notes

The ECU stores component failure information for the TCCS under a related trouble code which can be recalled for diagnosis and repair. A malfunction is indicated by the CHECK ENGINE lamp blinking a number of times equal to the malfunction code. These codes can also be displayed on a Super Monitor Display, if equipped, located on the dashboard.

Codes are displayed starting with the lowest numbered code. Only the codes in which a related malfunction has occurred will be displayed.
