Feedback Condition Check

  1. Increase engine speed to 2000 RPM. Disconnect both EACV and EBCV electrical connectors. Wait a few seconds. Reconnect EBCV. Engine RPM should drop approximately 300 RPM immediately.
  2. Disconnect vacuum hose from vacuum switch and plug hose end. See Figure. Engine should return to 2000 RPM within a few seconds. If check does not show defective, system is okay. If check fails, inspect each component.
